Basic Three Step Process

1. We inspect your home’s exterior for signs of foundation failure. We look for brick/veneer cracks, fascia and freeze board separations, gaps at the doors and windows, cracks at the foundation slab edges or crawl space skirting. While checking your property, your home is measured and a detailed scale floor plan is created.
   
2. We inspect your home’s interior. We check for interior wall/ceiling/flooring cracks or compression flaws. Your doors and windows are checked for proper operation and square-ness. With a digital computerized water level we will check your floor elevations and determine the highest area and record the lower elevation reading on the floor plan taking into consideration all of the different types of finish floor thicknesses. We use our readings and our construction knowledge to determine how much the foundation has moved. Conclusions will be made to determine if we are dealing with settlement, heaving, or both. We will explain our findings to you in detail.
   
3. With our years of experience, we will make recommendations on how to best proceed with your house leveling process. Many times, repairs are not necessary and we will be happy to explain our conclusion and how we arrived at our decision. We will provide a written estimate and the floor plan for your review. We may recommend an independent engineer’s inspection as an option. We are experts at listening and understanding your needs. We will never recommend work that you do not need.
