Doug and his crew shored up the wonky foundation on an old slab addition to our even older pier-and-beam house earlier this year. At first, we were a little leary about going with him given that his quote came in so far under the other companies who put in bids for the job. However, Douglas' excellent customer service wound up winning us over, which is good because we couldn't have been happier with the whole experience of working with him. He and his guys got nine piers under that slab and cleaned up their mess in just a day and half. On top of that, his crew was friendly and punctual. In short, I'd recommend Douglas Foundation Repair to anyone in Austin who needs foundation work done on their house.

I had several companies give me a bid for my foundation repair. Needless to say there were also two different ways of getting the job completed. I went to an engineer at my church as I was concerned about getting the job done correctly. The engineer explained that Douglas Foundation knew what he was doing and he was doing what was best for my house. If I would have went with the other companies my house would have been stressed and I would have had many other issues to deal with such as uneven siding stress cracks and so on. Douglas Foundation crew was fast courteous and did a fantastic job at a great price.

Excellent "Foundation Therapy"??

The process of wanting to sell a house, discovering a foundation problem and then trying to find someone to fix it was one of the most stressful things we've had to go through. Douglas and his crew made the experience as painless as possible. He did such an efficient job on our house and ensured that we were set up in the best possible way to get the house on the market. We also especially appreciated that he personally fixed concrete work after it was affected by a unexpected rainstorm. Douglas provided knowledgeable and excellent customer service/expertise and his "foundation therapy" was invaluable for anxious nerves. He takes the time to explain everything and there were no questions he couldn't answer. We would recommend Douglas to anyone who wants high quality, customer focused and honest foundation repair.?

"Nice guy" is no hype...??

I chose Douglas to evaluate my foundation because I was looking for a customer-friendly experience. He was just like his picture and reviews! Douglas loves his work and helping homeowners. He gave me a 75 minute evaluation of my house and foundation. He added on information about my drainage, trees and outdoor patio. He loves to teach and give examples. Turns out I do not need any of his remediation expertise but he gave me ideas about how to fix one problem with my foundation. I got valuable info for free. No pressure. He just enjoys helping and being with good people. So, I can not vouch for his crews or his pricing - but I think he knows his stuff, is very honest and nice to be around. Foundation trouble is scary stuff, Douglas has great bedside manner!?
